PB & J Overnight Oats in a Jar
- 1/2 Cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/4 Cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 Tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 Teaspoon sugar
- 1 Tablespoon crunchy peanut butter
- 1 Tablespoon
In an 8 ounce mason jar, combine the milk, oats, chia seeds, and sugar. Close the jar with the lid, shake the mixture and refrigerate overnight. The next day, take the jar out of the refrigerator, stir in the peanut butter and jam, and serve.
This is a great recipe that you can make your own by adding your own personal touch. The sugar can be substituted with stevia, maple or agave syrup. Or leave it out, and in the morning mix in yogurt and fresh fruit instead of peanut butter and jam.
